Major airlines have begun boarding passengers bound for the US after a court order lifted the travel ban imposed last week. Trump’s executive order had banned citizens from seven Middle Eastern countries from entering the United States.
Trump is not happy about this, so of course, he took to Twitter. Here is everything he's said about the travel ban so far in chronological order:
Not sure the purpose behind his "quotation" usage.
Yeah, totally! Thankfully there are intense vetting processes already in place.
Two countries, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, have made statements that could be considered as an endorsement of the executive order. Those countries are not included in the ban, but have produced terrorists that made it to American soil. For example, of the terrorists from 9/11, fifteen were Saudi and two were from UAE. Perhaps their leaders are thankful to be exempt despite this, and other events.
"So-called Judge" was appointed by legitimate President Bush, of the same political party. Can we call Trump a "so-called President" now?
Also, this is literally enforcing the law. Sorry Trump, we haven't succumb to your dictatorship yet.
The federal judge claims the ban does not abide by the constitution, stating it needs to be "based in fact, as opposed to fiction." Surprise, judges take legal action when the law is broken.
Because of these tweets, many very bad and dangerous people may suspect their fear of Muslims, immigrants and refugees is legitimate.
Trump is referring to another federal judge that refused to extend a restraining order against President Trump’s executive order, meaning a win for Trump's ban. His ruling stated that lawyers for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) had not demonstrated the need for extending the restraining order. The pause on the ban will expire on February 5th.
So are some good people.
Talking about blame is important right now? As nothing bad happens.
Trump says "Do your job!" 👏 👏👏
They will. "DHS personnel will resume inspection of travelers in accordance with standard policy and procedure."
*Post will be updated with future Tweets by Trump regarding the Travel Ban*
Trump's administration is likely to put the policy put back into effect with an appeal.
“At the earliest possible time, the Department of Justice intends to file an emergency stay of this outrageous order and defend the executive order of the President, which we believe is lawful and appropriate. The president’s order is intended to protect the homeland and he has the constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people.” - White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer
