Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Prime Minister, openly welcomes refugees and often praises Canada for its acceptance of diversity as a strength, not a weakness.
On Saturday morning, several people were denied entry to the United States at JFK Airport, due to an executive order by Trump earlier this week. The new U.S. President declared a ban on entry to citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen), suspends the admission of all refugees for 120 days, and for Syrians in particular, indefinitely. All of this to keep out ‘radical Islamic terrorists’.
So as travelers were stranded at JKF today, Trudeau tweeted this welcome message.
What do you think about Trudeau's offer and Trump's executive order?
