On Saturday morning, several people were denied entry to the United States at JFK Airport, due to an executive order by Trump earlier this week. The new U.S. President declared a ban on entry to citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen), suspends the admission of all refugees for 120 days, and for Syrians in particular, indefinitely. All of this to keep out ‘radical Islamic terrorists’.
People detained by the government were threatened with deportation even though they have valid visas or green cards to enter the United States. Hundreds of civilians swarmed the airport terminal in protest.

American Civil Liberties Union fought back, declaring refugees will not be deported. A federal judge has now issued a temporary stay for those affected by Trump's ban.
Do you think a ban on entry to the civilians of seven Muslim-majority countries will help curb terrorism?
