In his first executive order as President, Donald Trump has reinstated a federal ban on U.S. funding for international health organizations that counsel women, and men, on family planning options.
This includes counselling on abortion, but abortion procedures have not been funded by government money since 1973.

Trump is already making it more difficult for international women, and men, to get the services they need for family planning and reproductive health.
The United States had been over spending $600 million a year on assistance, making it possible for 27 million women, and men, to access valuable services.
